Is this the BIGGEST CS2 misconception?

CS2 did not fix the left side peeking advantage that CSGO had, but it might be slightly different than you remember. Let’s investigate exactly how it works.
For reference, Left and Right will be referred to from the players perspective, not the viewers, and are designated in the top corners of the screen to help you keep track!
To test this, first we have to determine where the camera’s horizontal position in the player model.
To do this, I positioned myself against the doorway where the center of my screen is directly centered with the edge of the door.
That way it would perfectly cover half of my left or right model.
Then I took a picture from a 3rd perspective.
With a little bit of photoshop magic, I can determine where the camera lies.
Doing this, we notice a few things. The camera does not come out of the horizontal center of the characters face, but the horizontal center of the characters entire model. Furthermore, the character has a slight lean, so the distribution not even.
If you lead and peek with your right side first, you will expose your elbow and knees first, then your head.
If you lead with your left side, more of your torso will be exposed, but less of your head.
The main difference is that peeking with your right side gives the enemy less area to shoot at, but exposes your head more, allowing you to be one tapped.
On the other hand, a left leading peek will have your head more protected, but your body is larger and, arguably, more noticeable.
You should note that CS2 has extremely animated movement compared to CS:GO, so depending on which part of the animation you are at, what the enemy sees can vary.
Crouching is a different story. The way the model bends over, it shows much more if you expose your left side compared to your right side. Look at the DIFFERENCE!
I did these tests with the m4a4, but variation exists depending on the gun you are holding on the skin you have equipped.
