How we find the fabrics for GRMNT production | Part 2
How important is the quality of the fabric when you cop a piece and how much does it factor in to your decision?
We recently took a trip to Italy where we learned how the high-fashion industry works and thankfully, we're lucky enough to be able to feature their finest fabrics in our own, limited productions due to our digital design and presentation business model.
We're not doing it only because it's sustainable, but rather, we just wanted to find the best textiles for our work. Producing the fabric ourselves would push our items to 4 to 6 times the cost so our limited release model seems to best fit our ambition and the fact that it also helps with the gigantic waste problem in the industry, is a very nice bonus.
