Kill It To Understand It~Gene Burnett
Here I am talking about and demonstrating a little principle that I call "Kill It To Understand It". This is where you "kill" one aspect of what you're working on in order to better understand the whole. In this case, I "kill" the flow in order to understand the mechanics of a movement. Along the way, I use another principle of breaking mechanics down into "checkpoints" where I check to see if all my body parts are where they should be at each crucial stage of a movement.
