Harley Sportster 48 Clutch Cable Install
Swapping out the clutch cable on your 48, whether that be for aesthetics or better performance, is not difficult. Take a look to see how I did mine! NOTE: As some have mentioned you must leave a little slack in the line. A good measure is about the thickness of a nickel or a 1/4 turn out should do the trick. Check your users/shop manuals depending on your year/model to ensure you use the right measurements so that your clutch lever has a little room/play in it that you could fit a nickel between where the lever meets the mounting bracket.
