OpenStack - cloud computing software in the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model developed by Rackspace Cloud and NASA. Among the 150 companies developing the OpenStack technology are: AMD, Avaya, Intel, Canonical, Novell, Cisco, Dell, IBM [needed footnote], HP, Fujistu. OpenStack has API compatible with Amazon EC2.
