The most unassuming place in Taiwan | 🇹🇼 Hualien Travel Guide
Well... this was unexpected 😨 After months of planning, reading reviews on Google and reading up on Taroko National Park, Wu Ken and I were faced with a closed door. Unfortunately, Taroko National Park was closed due to an earthquake that happened a year ago. 🏔️
We were genuinely shocked as this was completely unexpected (and to nobody's fault but my own). We came all the way to Hualien for this and we're now left with a decision on whether or not to stay in Hualien for another day, or head back to Taipei. 🚝🥲
Although things didn't go to plan, we were able to explore Hualien without a schedule and without any expectations - needless to say, this turned out to be one of the most wholesome and relaxing part of our entire Taiwan trip! 🇹🇼
