https://training.uplatz.com/online-it... tutorial by Uplatz describes the UiPath RPA best practices. This is part-2 of the two part series.
To summarize, the speaker is discussing best practices for designing UiPath processes. They highlight the importance of following consistent framework, using proper naming conventions and annotations, handling exceptions, and following best practices. The speaker then goes on to describe a typical process framework that is commonly used in UiPath, which starts with initializing the parameters, extracting data, processing transactions, updating transaction information, and closing the process. The framework is best suited for processing a large volume of data in real-time, and multiple robots can work on the same queue to improve efficiency.
Balance the workload and make sure that the process is faster so this is how the RPA framework works so next moving on to you know another design that we have is the sequence flowchart so in this design what we do is we basically map out you know the flow of the process in a sequential manner so you know it's just like a flowchart that we see you know in different process flow diagrams where we you know see how the process is flowing and how it is moving from one step to another so this design is helpful when you know we have a simple process or a small process to automate and the process is not very complex .
it's just a simple process that needs to be automated so this is the design that we use in case of a simple process next moving on to the State machine so in the State machine design what we do is we you know we model the process as a set of states and we define the transitions between the states so for example you know the process can start from the initial state and then it can move to the next state based on certain conditions and then move to the next state based on certain conditions and so on so this design is helpful when we have a more complex process that requires multiple states and multiple conditions and we need to manage the process flow in a more structured way so these are the three main process designs that we have in UI path RPA and based on our requirements and the complexity of the process we can choose the right design that suits our needs.
