How To Fix Hisense TV Backlight Turns Off After Few Seconds But Sound Normal, No Picture- Easy Fixes

When I press the power button, the tv turns on and lights up and the words “HISENSE” are displayed, then the screen goes dark.
The picture is visible when a light is shined into the screen and sound plays fine. The problem persists on HDMI and Component inputs with different devices.
