For example: I'm downloading Bloons TD6 on my PC, which is a game I purchased, etc. And look, it's downloading at 3 MB per second, or four at most. So, there's a new Epic Games option that sometimes activates on its own, and you have to disable it so that when you update a game or install a new one, it doesn't limit your download speed. Okay?
So, first thing you need to do: go to your Epic Games account and there's the "Library" option. If you're downloading a game, even better, okay? You're downloading a game, and the download icon will appear at the bottom. You'll click on it. The game you're downloading will appear, along with the scheduled section, and recent updates. You'll click on that last option labeled "Download Settings."
Clicking on "Download Settings" will take you all the way down. And then, in this case, you'll have the options: updates, new installations, and during gameplay. Okay? Like, when you're playing something, the download will be limited to 7 MB. Every time you download a game, the game is limited to a maximum download of 4 MB, and updates too, okay?
How do you get it unlimited? Just go here and uncheck the "Limit download speed" option. Mine was at 3 MB. Let's disable "Limit download speed" here. Great, we disabled that option. Now let's go to "Overview" and look: it went up to 11 MB. Look there: 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18 MB. Okay?
So that's it: disable that option, which will remove that internet speed limiter from your Epic Games. Then your game downloads will be much faster, okay?
