Student Spotlight - Mike Styer on Headshots, Corporate & SEO
So one of my favorite things to do is to connect with photographers who I have trained and see how they have grown in their business. And this guy is a legend in my eyes.
Mike Styer is a Philadelphia/Exton-based headshot and branding photographer who works with small businesses, corporations, entrepreneurs, to create “a photographic experience that doesn’t suck!”
I was so keen to invite Mike onto the Podcast, cause I just love that Mike adopted and adapted when we worked together, but he didn’t try to flip his entire business model. And best of all, he has been able to increase his average sales significantly as a result.
Mike is also a bit of a marketing geek like me so I was so keen to learn and get him to share what he has learnt about SEO, something I have a basic knowledge and practise of, but this discussion just blew my mind about possibilities of going deeper into SEO.
And as Mike and I both started out young in our businesses, I was keen to open up a discussion about self learning through running a business.
