The Normalized Differential Water Index (NDWI) allows us to identify affected crop areas in time if they are subjected to severe stress during a drought. If we detect water stress early, many negative impacts on crops can be prevented. This can be achieved using remote sensing of the Earth. In this case, we will apply QGIS and ArcGIS. It will also significantly improve the farmer's performance, especially in areas where water needs are difficult to meet.
