Arbutus Dance

This piece was inspired by a drive around the Victoria (British Columbia) area, which Mike Keddy took me (Itamar Danziger) on. Within that drive, Mike showed me the beautiful Arbutus trees which are unique to that area. The trees also seem to have a dancing aura to them. The combination of spending time with such an amazing musician and seeing such beautiful trees inspired this dance-like piece, in gratitude to Mike for his inspiration!
