Do Dividends Matter
Many people invest in companies for the only for the purpose of DIVIDENDS.
I personally feel this is not the right approach. One should exercise great caution of going through the fundamentals and watching the company time and again. One should understand that dividends are not always sweet, usually given to the investors to retain their trust and hence their investments and sometimes given no matter what the company's earnings are. To avoid such traps, we as investors should beware and focus on the intrinsic value of the company more than the dividends they are offering.
