An Ordo Xenos Inquisitor tracks Eldar activity and gains knowledge of a prophecy requiring the destruction of an Imperial outpost. A powerful human psyker resides there, with the potential to fall to Chaos and destabilise the entire sector. This will lead to a large uprising of heresey that the Imperium will struggle to contain and eventually put Craftworlds at risk.
The Eldar attack is swift and deadly, but the Imperial Guard are able to react in time under the guidance of the Inquisitor to force a pitched battle. The xenos must stand and fight them in this fierce battle on Argus Desert Gate.
