1.2 Computer Architecture. | Introduction to Computing. | Civil Engineering
This subject provides the profile of the Civil Engineer with the necessary computer tools (software) to apply them within the field of Civil Engineering in order to develop executive projects, providing the ability to reason and solve problems with the use of a computer.
Since this subject will support others, it is proposed at the beginning of the degree, trying to make the student apply it later for the benefit of his development, it also allows the formulation and execution of research and technological development projects in the field of Civil Engineering by having the ability to use Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for Civil Engineering.
As a consequence, it motivates the student to innovate, create, generate, adapt and apply new technologies in the design and construction of civil works, as well as to develop critical capacity that allows him to permanently update his knowledge.
