SOUND SYSTEMS DEPLOYED MAINLY FOR TRAFFIC, CONFLICT AND MOB MANAGEMENT
THESE SYSTEMS ARE CAPABLE OF TWO-WAY COMMUNICATION

Saturday marked the Police Martyrs Day across Pakistan in conventional spirit and celebration by all Policing Services and Streams. Punjab Safe Cities Authority went a step further by airing national anthems and patriotic songs to commemorate the fine men lost in the line of duty.
This was made possible when the citizens of Lahore metropolis woke up to the eulogies and tunes aired at various locations that formed the otherwise unprecedented Public Address Sound System together tasked for Intelligent Traffic Control, Conflict and Crowd Management through voice commands and instructions relayed by the CCTV-camera Operators who, in due time, will also be entrusted to interact with and address the Public spontaneously in case of a developing situation asking for interception from the IC3. Primarily, 250 of such sites have been endowed with this Public Address Sound System comprising powerful speakers with a convincingly audible range in the backdrop of street and traffic clutter and a mic for two-way communication and responses. This system was test-run to the awe of the citizens who were taken with surprise and vacillating sentiments listening to the tunes remembering the martyrs of the Police.
“This is next-level Policing”, commented an awe-stricken citizen when realizing the actual purpose of Public Address Sound System. Upon successful testing and operations of this system PSCA will incorporate it areawise within the operational domains of Police Communication Officers responsible for geo-strategic CCTV camera grid across the metropolis.
Both the Operators and masses are hopeful of the drastically enhanced efficacy expected of this new provision soon to become part of their daily routines and respective domains.
