Why I’ve Moved from Adobe to Apple Creator Studio.

In January 2026, Apple released its new Creator Studio subscription, bringing together tools like Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and familiar favourites such as Pages, Keynote, and Numbers, along with additional templates and creative resources.

Although I already held licences for Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro, I decided to move to the Creator Studio subscription. For me, it’s far more affordable than Adobe and—most importantly—much more accessible.

As a vision-impaired content creator, accessibility isn’t optional. It’s essential.

Over time I found Adobe tools increasingly difficult to work with. Many controls in applications like Premiere Pro, Audition, and Photoshop rely heavily on visual panels and graphical interface elements that screen readers can’t reliably interpret. Even when using keyboard navigation, many dialog boxes and controls simply aren’t announced properly. That makes creative work slower and more physically demanding.

By contrast, Apple’s tools are much easier to navigate using VoiceOver, the keyboard, or touch gestures on the iPad. I can:
• move through commands more confidently
• explore timeline elements and inspector controls more easily
• swipe through options on iPad
• or hover and navigate interface elements with spoken feedback on Mac

That makes a real difference.

In fact, many of the recent videos you’ve seen on this channel have already been edited using Final Cut Pro instead of Adobe Premiere Pro 🎬

Software matters. The right tools make creative work possible.

And while I’m moving my creative production workflow to Apple tools, I still find that JAWS for Windows together with Microsoft Word remains a strong and practical combination for cross-platform writing and document work.

If you’re exploring accessible creative tools—or thinking about changing software yourself—I hope this helps.
