Spanish verbs - Past perfect simple, present and past tense
In this new video we will look at some of the most important verbs.
We will conjugate them in different tenses.
On the one hand, the present tense, which is the action that is happening right now.
For example with the verb "creer", its conjugation in the present tense would be:
No te creo • Verbos en español - Pretérito perfecto sim...
And in the past tense in the past perfect simple tense:
"El otro día creí verte" • Verbos en español - Pretérito perfecto sim...
The past perfect simple tense is used to describe actions that occurred in the past, that have already taken place and that have already finished, they are not related to the present moment.
They are verbs that generally end in (with some exceptions):
-é, -aste, -ó, -amos, asteis, -aron
-í, -iste, -ió, -imos, -isteis, -ieron
Other examples of verbs in the past perfect simple that we use in the video:
When I first met you I thought you were a very nice person.
What did you do on Friday night?
Did you finally go to Julia's party?
I didn't see you in class yesterday.
You caught a bad cold.
I brought a delicious dessert to Juan's party.
The other day in bed I felt an earthquake.
I loved you more than anyone.
You thought you were right.
