XD Error: Sorry we can't open this document | Pro tip 13
Adobe XD may show you an error "Sorry we can't open this document" if your PC switched off suddenly while working on the file. So in the first instance, it looks like your file is corrupted but it's not true. Actually, your file is saved at adobe cloud here: https://assets.adobe.com/cloud-documents.
So you are thinking like you can download that file or older version from Adobe cloud, but you can't do this because adobe cloud not providing this feature.
So now what? Feel easy! i have a solution for you. Just go to any other pc and log in your Adobe ID on creative cloud(must be the same account on which your file is) and open that file. Now you can save as to your pc and transfer that file to your pc. Now you can open that adobe xd file that was not opening and was showing error "Sorry we can't open this document".
