The Anglo-Chinese School Anthem (Lyrics) | Henry M. Hoisington (1926)
Re-Uploading the video I created back in 2015 as a tribute to the School I spent 13 years of my life in. It was the first and possibly the only lyric video for the anthem. Made some changes as requested due to some inaccuracy claimed by some. The ACS Schools, OBA, Alumni are free to use this video for Founder's Day celebrations, gatherings, etc.
The lyrics of the Anglo-Chinese School Anthem were written by Henry Martyn Hoisington in 1926, who adapted the tune from the Canadian "The Maple Leaf Forever" and presented to the School's founder, Bishop Oldham in 1927. Since it composition, this anthem has sought to unite generations of Boys and Girls, past and present, in one voice.
Cheers to all past and present, To the Glory of God and the Youth of Singapore, The Best is Yet to Be!
