This week the carousel has chosen my favourite duo, With the MPC to boot.

The MPC1000 was the sequencer and drum machine, doing a bit of menu diving. I added some reverb and delay to the drums which were samples from a 626. Still getting my head around JJOS however with Arturia Keystep, it is a powerful machine and is rightly placed as the brain of my #dawless synth table.

To get that 80s vibe. I went to emulate one of my favourite synths the Juno 106. Some menu diving I had the oscillator bank mimicking that of the Juno, then using the flair of the Minilogue to make the sound its own. Then using the filter cut off, release and the effects section to create all the variance you are hearing.

The Monologue is still one of my favourite synth (maybe bias but it was my first). It is so capable for its size, this round the mono just made a smooth simple saw bass however fiddling with the drive, filter cutoff and release gave so much breath to the bass line.

Stay to the end where I go through the setup. Give it a like if you want to see more jams from this table setup. Ill have to go through and write some content about it and the setup. Also feel free to leave comments or questions below about the Mpc100, Korg #Monologue or #MinilogueXD, how the track was setup or the video itself. always looking to improve my videos and I can let you know how in the comments or future videos.

If people want to know how its filmed, I use a Canon760D and a Super Takumar 28 F3.5. I flip between my tripod and my Smallrig setup to do all the recording.
