Make Your OBS Studio Countdown Automatically Switch Scenes (No Plugins/Downloads)
In this OBS Studio tutorial I show you how to make your countdown timer automatically switch scenes when it hits 0, using a simple Lua script and no plugins.
This is perfect for “Starting Soon” scenes – when the countdown finishes, OBS will automatically move to your next scene (usually your gameplay or main camera) so you never forget to swap scenes again.

How to use it:
Download countdown.lua from the link above (click copy → paste into countdown.lua file).
In OBS go to Tools → Scripts → + and add countdown.lua.
Choose your text source and countdown duration.
Put that text source on your “Starting Soon” scene.
When the timer hits 0, OBS automatically switches to the next scene in your scene list.
