Hi Everyone! Welcome back to the CaseGuard Studio Training Course. In this video, we cover AI automatic video redaction in bulk.

To begin, select “Bulk Redaction” from the “Get Started” window. From the operation drop-down menu, select “Redact video/audio”. Now, you can select the video files you would like to redact in bulk. There is absolutely no limit to the number of files you can run through bulk processing. You can run two files or 2000 files.

When selecting your video files, try and select files that need the same objects removed from the file. For example, all of the files in the training video need heads and screens redacted. This allows us to run both face detection as well as screen detection in one operation.

Click on “Redaction Settings”. You will see the AI automatic detection window appear. From here, select the objects you want CaseGuard to redact from your files. We selected faces/heads as well as screens. Click next. Select the shape and effect you want to apply to faces/heads. You can apply a redaction reason. Click next. Let’s do the same thing for screens. Click next.

If you need to keep everyone redacted, uncheck the classify checkbox. This will make the detection run faster. If you need to unredact specific faces or screens plates later, keep the classify results checkbox checked.

You can schedule your bulk operation to run at a designated time. This is useful if you have many videos that need to be redacted but limited computer resources. You can schedule the bulk redaction to run when you leave for the evening. That way, when you return to your computer, your files will have been processed.
Click apply.

Now that you have your files and redaction objects selected, it’s time to select which project we would like to place our files in. You can choose an existing project or create a new project.

The last thing I want to mention is the “Export after Detection” check box. If you check this checkbox, CaseGuard will also export the redacted file for you. This is a really useful tool if you do not need to unredact any of your objects or make any edits to your file.

You are ready to run your Bulk Video Redaction!

You can select the “Open Project” Folder to the right of your file in the CaseGuard Scheduler. This will open your bulk project.

You can always make additional edits to my original video and export it again. The new video will be titled “file name”_redacted_1.

That’s all we have for you today. In the following video, we will cover Bulk AI audio redaction. See you soon!
Happy Redaction!
