Red Bull Ring - F4 CEZ - Race 1 (Group A+B) - 11/04/2026
The FIA-certified F4 CEZ Championship kicks off its 2026 season at the iconic Red Bull Ring in the Austrian Alps — a circuit with a long Formula 1 heritage and a traditional home for the series' season opener.
This year's opener marks a new chapter for F4 CEZ: with a record-breaking field of over 40 cars, the weekend format has been expanded to four races. Two qualifying groups feed into three 25-minute qualifying races, with the top 32 drivers advancing to a grand final, scheduled for Sunday at 16:15.
The grid is packed with talent. Swiss powerhouse Jenzer Motorsport returns as the team to beat, led by 2025 vice champion Max Karhan alongside teammates Elia Weiss and Teo Borenstein. Female representation is also at an all-time high — Ella Hakkinen, daughter of two-time F1 world champion Mika Hakkinen, makes her single-seater debut, while Mathilda Paatz, Jade Jacquet, Ginevra Panzeri, Alexia Danielsson and Michalina Sabaj all bring serious intent to the grid.
With a bigger field, a new race format and fresh rivalries waiting to unfold, the 2026 F4 CEZ season promises to be the most competitive yet.
