WARKOP DKI - FORGETTING THE RULES OF THE GAME (1990)
"Forgot the Rules of the Game" (released in 1991, often referred to as the early 90s release) is a Warkop DKI comedy film about Dono, Kasino, and Indro, who live with Eva Arnaz and Fortunella. Chaos ensues when they try to catch a mysterious robber, but end up mistakenly arresting an undercover police officer due to a silly misunderstanding.
Full Synopsis:
Home Situation: Dono, Kasino, Indro, along with two women, Debby (Eva Arnaz) and Anneke (Fortunella/Intan Fully), live next door to each other in a housing complex.
Conflict: Their neighborhood is shaken by the actions of a mysterious, masked, buck-toothed robber.
Wrong Target: Dono challenges the robber through the newspaper, which leads a real police officer to go undercover to escort them. Mistaking the police officer for a robber, Warkop DKI traps him with poisoned dumplings.
Ending: The real robber is finally caught thanks to the hilarious antics and panic of the characters, ending in a typically Warkop comedy.
