Minecraft - How to Make Texture Packs
How to do custom mix texture packs in Minecraft.
Step 1: Find a pack you like and want to use as a base (or use the default)
Step 2: Open it in winrar or winzip and take the terrain.png out
Step 3: Edit the images in terrain.png to whatever you wish
Step 4: Replace the terrain.png with the new version and load up the pack in game
Note: You must use a photo editor that supports transparency for backgrounds. PAINT WILL NOT WORK.
If your images are different sizes (i.e. 128x128 vs 64x64 you will have to resize it before you add it in to your pack. Note that resizing to make it smaller is a lot better than resizing it to make it larger (in terms of qualtiy).
If you want to add your own art or pictures then make sure the picture is the correct size, then follow the steps in this video.
