Choose The Right Cable for CarPlay and iPhone15 Pro (USB-A to USB-C)

CarPlay and USB-C are best friends! You just have to know which cable to use. So, do not be scared, watch this and learn something. I am using an iPhone 15 Pro with seven cables:
1. Lemontti USB-A to USB-C (Type C), 1.5m.
2. Ikea Sittbrunn USB-A to USB-C (Type C), 3A, 1m, 480mbps.
3. Ugreen US184 USB-A to USB-C (Type C), 3A, 1M.
4. Joyroom S-UC027A9 USB-A to USB-C (Type C), 25cm, 3A.
5. Borfone BX54 USB-A to USB-C (Type C), 3A, 1M.
6. Aukey CB-CA2 USB-A to USB-C (Type C), 2m, USB 3.2 Gen 1.
7. Baseus CATYS-A01 USB-A to USB-C (Type C), 2m, 66w.
8. Baseus Cafule USB-A to USB-C (Type C), 3m, 2A.
9. Aukey CB-AC1 Impulse Series USB-A to USB-C (Type C), 1.2m.
10. A high speed USB-A to USB-C (Type C) cable from an NVMe enclosure ASUS Rog Strix Arion

All tested cables in this video are working with iPhone 15 Pro and Mazda 3 2023 without issues. This does not necessary means they will work with all cars. There are reports on different platforms that many users have issues with iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max and cars with USB-A port. Your choice for now is to test as many cables as possible and make sure they are known and reputable brand. Also, mandatory DATA CABLES. Some users report they have been been able to get around this issue by using cables from Belkin, Sony, Baseus and even Nintendo. Others had no such luck. It probably depends of the car or combination between the car and the cable you use.
Also, sometimes rebooting the phone will make it work. You still need a data cable. This is not changed :)
Of course this is something which should not happen and Apple should come with a solution (a software update for sure). Per MacRumors (https://www.macrumors.com/2023/09/29/..., the issue has been reported to Apple and they are currently working on a solution.
