What are Top Dead Centre (TDC) and Bottom Dead Centre (BDC) in Automobile Engine?
Dead centres are the farthest and nearest positions of a piston from the crankshaft in an IC engine. So the Top Dead Centre (TDC) is the topmost position of the piston inside the cylinder and Bottom Dead Centre (BDC) is the bottom most position of the piston inside a cylinder.
