Hungry, Hungry Urchins
Veterinary Medicine major, Nicole Cox, and Marine and Coastal Sciences major, Michalea Lai, investigated how purple sea urchins (Strongylocentrotus purpuratus) find kelp by utilizing a laboratory maze experiment to determine if sea urchins can be conditioned to enter a certain side of a maze.
