The Pak Identity app has revolutionized the process, allowing you to use your smartphone's camera as a biometric scanner. This means you can avoid the physical NADRA office entirely for your first ID card.
1. What You Need
B-Form Number: Your child registration certificate number.
Smartphone: Must have a functional camera for fingerprint and facial scanning.
Payment Method: Debit/Credit card, EasyPaisa, or JazzCash for the processing fee.
Attester: A blood relative (parent or sibling) with a valid CNIC to verify your application digitally.
2. The Digital Application Process
Account Creation: Download the Pak Identity app from the Play Store or App Store. Register using your email and phone number.
Start New Application: Select the option for Issued ID Card and then choose Fresh CNIC.
Data Sync: Enter your B-Form number. The app will automatically pull your name, date of birth, and parentage from the NADRA records.
Capture Photo: Follow the on-screen prompts to take a portrait photo. Ensure you have a plain white background and good lighting.
Biometric Scanning: This is the most important part. You will be asked to hold your hand behind the phone camera. The app will automatically scan and verify your fingerprints.
Digital Signature: Sign directly on your phone screen using your finger.
Payment and Delivery: Pay the required fee and enter your home address where you want the card delivered.
