The Opel Corsa takes a decisive step forward, completely redesigning its front end, incorporating the Vizor styling, which gives the line a beautiful compactness as well as an efficient aerodynamic profile. The model name—a now consolidated trend—stands out in the center of the tailgate. The black grille spans the front end, crossing the grille and connecting the LED headlights, and the Opel lightning bolt in a single element.
Depending on the trim level, the new Opel Corsa can feature a completely redesigned dashboard inside and out, with the adoption of a Snapdragon cockpit processor system specifically developed by Qualcomm for automotive applications. The driver and passenger interface has been updated to be more readable and intuitive, featuring OTA (over-the-air) updates and wireless connectivity for Apple and Android phones (as well as their charging).
Active matrix LED headlights, which significantly increase lighting performance at night and in low visibility, are still a rare commodity in the city car segment. Fourteen elements, each electronically controlled, act as automatic dipped beam headlights. This safety feature is complemented by a new high-resolution panoramic reversing camera, adaptive cruise control, a speed limiter, a flank guard system, and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection.
Two battery variants are offered: 100 kW/136 hp and a range of 357 km, or 115 kW/156 hp and a range of 402 km (WLTP cycle). With a 100 kW fast charge, the battery reaches 80% of its total capacity in just 30 minutes (20-80%). But among the engines there will also be a 48V mild-hybrid with 74 kW/100 hp and 100 kW/136 hp with automatic dual-clutch transmission.
