Hidden Camera Exposed the Nurse
In 2015 in Australia, Noleen Hausler secretly placed a camera inside her father’s nursing home room after noticing unexplained bruises on his body.
Her father was bedridden and unable to speak, leaving him completely dependent on staff for care.
When she reviewed the footage, she allegedly discovered disturbing behavior by a nurse, including forceful feeding and covering his mouth and nose with a napkin.
She immediately reported the footage to police, leading to the nurse’s arrest.
But afterward, nursing home management accused Noleen of illegally recording staff and attempted to remove her authority over her father’s care.
Following her father’s passing, she became an advocate for allowing cameras in nursing homes to protect vulnerable patients.
