Canon in D - Raquel Gebel
Raquel now plays over 2 minutes of this piece...all memorized, since she can't see the notes on the music. After only one year of lessons, too! It's astounding! And she is determined to learn the entire 10 page piece. Her progress is even more amazing if you realize that progress like this would be fantastic for a person with normal sight, and without all the problems Raquel has caused by Wolfram syndrome causes. Raquel's uncle is JT Snow and her grandfather was the Jack Snow one of the greatest football players who ever played, and later coached and announced). Her siblings are all excellent at sports...Volleyball (Merry is one of the top high school volleyball players in the country), Cheerleading,(Laruen is a cheerleader), and her brother is great in football. So it is wonderful Raquel is able to do something like this! (That her siblings CAN"T do!!!!!!!)
