Today we have the 1st Gen iPad Mini. Released by Apple on November 2, 2012, this iPad was a compact and lightweight alternative to the standard iPad, featuring a 7.9 inch display, Apple A5 chip and 512MN of RAM. It was designed for portability while maintaining the iOS experience, supporting apps, iCloud and FaceTime. Though lacking a Retina display, its sleek design and lower price point made it a popular choice. The 1st Gen iPad mini was availabile in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options and came in Wi-Fi and cellular models and was eventually succeeded by the iPad mini 2 in 2013
