Can the Macbook Neo Handle After Effects?
I honestly didn’t expect this…
In this video, I put After Effects to the test on the new MacBook Neo, and the results surprised me more than I thought they would. Not only does it run, it’s actually usable… and in some cases, way more capable than you’d expect for the price point.
I also take a step back and look at how far technology has come over the past 11 years. I even pulled up an old project file from when I first started in motion graphics to see how it performs today compared to my 2015 MacBook Pro, and the difference is pretty wild.
Now, is this machine meant for creative work? Not really. But if you’re on a tight budget and trying to get into video editing or motion design, it might be more viable than you think.
