How to Configure VTP - VLAN Trunking Protocol || Configuration
In this Video, I am showing you, How to Configure VTP - VLAN Trunking Protocol - Lab
Create the following VLANS on switch Switch-- 1
VLAN 10: name India
VLAN 20: name USA
VLAN 30: name Newyork
Configure the interfaces between the switches as trunks.
Configure switch Switch--1 to be the VTP server.
Configure switch Switch--3 to be a VTP client.
Configure switch Switch--2 so it does not synchronise itself to the lastest VTP information, it should forward advertisements to switch Switch-3 though.
Change the VTP domain name to “PGRspot”.
Use the password “PGR” for VTP.
Remove the password from Client and make sure Server and Client does not synchronise by creating Vlan200 : Test200
Configure Vlan 300 in Transparent mode Switch and confirm that the created VLAN is only Locally Known.
Make Sure Vlan created in Tranparent mode are shown in running-config.
