Mythical Pokémon Collection: Manaphy Unboxing & Giveaway! + New Steam Siege Cards!
Welcome back, Pokémon Trainers! It's time again for a weekly news update video!
Once again, I've got some Pokémon TCG packs to open up! This time around, it's a little different. In addition to the standard booster packs I generally open (this week being Ancient Origins and BREAKthrough), in celebration of hitting 700 subscribers to the channel, I'll also be opening up the long-awaited Mythical Pokémon Collection: Manaphy box as well! As always, the code cards for these packs will be going out to some lucky viewers. I'll open up the packs near the end of the video, and give you viewers the Question of the Day for you to respond to. Leave your response in a comment down below using the hashtag #QOTD, and you'll be entered into the running to receive one of the code cards (chosen randomly) when I do the drawing this coming Sunday, July 3rd.
A number of special stages are on the go in Pokémon Shuffle right now, lasting until Tuesday, July 5th. Both Landorus Therian Forme and Gyarados are available in standard encounters, and each of these Pokémon may drop a specific Skill Booster item if you defeat them a second time after capturing them. Also underway is another Pokémon Safari, a format in which you don't know which specific Pokémon (from a select list) you'll encounter when you enter, so you have to select a suitable team beforehand. The Pokémon available in this Safari are: Shellder, Cloyster, Pidove, Tranquill, Unfezant, shiny Magikarp, and shiny Gyarados. Choose some powerful Electric Pokémon and do your best to capture these new species!
The new month of July approaches this coming Friday, and with it, the next Mythical Pokémon distribution for the #Pokemon20 year-long celebration. Shaymin will be the spotlight Pokémon for July, with its Mystery Gift distribution beginning on Friday. Keep your eyes peeled for the Mythical Pokémon TCG Collection: Shaymin, as well as crushed-velvet plushies and exclusive figures in celebration of this Mythical Pokémon, too!
Coming to the 3DS Virtual Console are a trio of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games! If you've never played a Mystery Dungeon game before, now is your chance to get Red Rescue Team, Blue Rescue Team, and/or Explorers of Sky. These games take our familiar mechanics of Pokémon battling from the main series games, but puts a twist on things with a dungeon crawling feel to the games. Certainly an interesting new way to play Pokémon!
Two new cards have been revealed from the upcoming Pokémon TCG: Steam Siege expansion. A new Gardevoir-EX is entering the format, along with its Mega Evolution, which for the first time ever is a dual-type Fairy/Psychic Pokémon!
