Here are the default locations for storing wordfiles:
Windows 7 and later:
C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\IDMComp\UltraEdit\wordfiles
Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\IDMComp\UltraEdit\wordfiles
OS X:
/Username/Library/Application Support/UltraEdit/wordfiles
Linux:
/HOME/Username/.idm/wordfiles
