Soft Pastel Demo - Tips on Painting Grass, Water Reflections and Trees
In this demo, I show you my thought process on this painting as well as share tips on how to paint grasses and water reflections. I also provide a few tops on how to make colors pop!
This is another scene from my Edisto plein air trip. While out painting, my friends and I all stopped in our tracks… it was one of those moments that just begged to be painted. While I didn’t end up painting it in plein air that day, by painting it in the studio I was able to teleport back. ✨
FYI This painting is 12x16 painted with mostly Unison soft pastels on Sennelier La Carte pastel card.
