‘The Fool’ tells the tale of a traveler haunted by inner voices. Living in unconsciousness of his own emotions until that day, his ignorance leads him to a state of stasis where he assists, helpless, to the confrontation of his illusory plenitude against his will to feel.
Having realized that what he considered a mental balance was nothing but a self-inflicted lie, he tries to free himself from this apathetic state to take control back over himself. His journey becomes an introspection about his own identity, his way to observe the world, and finally his own ability to face his emotions.
Chapter 1:
His passivity having led him to a state of stasis, he hears a first voice echoing inside his head as he sleeps. The voice seems to be explaining him that it’s time to escape the mental prison that he has built himself.
A second voice, softer, wishes to be heard during this first chapter. It represents the illusory plenitude of the traveler, who has joined him on his journey of life until that day. It observes the state of passivity and denial that he displays, making him ignore the pain and denial that he hides within himself.
The first voice, revolted by this contemplative state, resurfaces in an angry tone and pushes the traveler to free himself from his chains.

LYRICS:
Opaque eyes on my smiling face
Denying the mess growing inside
I enjoy the outer world
And its beautiful lies
Ignoring the pain spreading inside
Numb fingers on my shaking hands
Neglecting the strain deep in my chest
I walk through this mundane place
And its deceptive light
Destroying my faith, dazing my mind
Parle, repens toi
Écoute ces voix dans ta tête
Ton âme n’est pas sourde
Fais face à toi-même
Délivre toi du mal
De celui qui anime ton corps
Réveille celui qui hurle dans tes entrailles
La bête et l’agneau ne font qu’un
N’aie plus peur de ce que tu es
Accepte la vérité
Stop thinking you’re so stupid
To miss the truth of the feelings
That get you up in the evening
When you go down in the morning
I want to live
I want to breathe
Beyond this wall that is too thick
Dying inside because I am deaf
Confess your sins
The ignorant will remain blind
One cannot heal without a judgment
Of an eternity of lies
Open your eyes
