Note: Thanks to how popular this got, I decided to make a tutorial of how to set this up from scratch! You can view it here, or I link to it after this videos over so you can still get the overview of the UI: • Home Assistant Supervised on a Raspbe...
My home automation setup is based on Home Assistant....an open source hub that allows me to use a wide variety of devices from multiple protocols, and then allows me to easily control them via the web. It is easy to use, can run on a raspberry pi, and can later be moved to a full PC if you need more power.
When I started out, I found that it was tough to get a feel for what it 'looked' like. So this video is meant to help others understand what the UI can look like, what options it has, and to understand a bit more about it.
If you enjoy Home automation and want to know more beyond this introduction, there are far more versed channels out there. Two I really enjoy are:
BRUH automation

DrZzs

Thanks for watching!
