Buying a new Sony camera in 2021 can be a bit confusing. Especially with the great ApS-C and full frame offerings. But is buying a 3 year old Sony camera a good strategy?
Whether you are a photographer, hybrid shooter or videographer, Sony has a camera for you. But this not necessarily means that you need to spend a lot of money, so today we are going to be discussing the main features of my favorite App-c Sony cameras but also Full Frame Sony cameras.
This first camera on the list would be the Sony A6400 a camera worth buying in 2021 since this camera will handle most content creators need. Featuring a 24 MP sensor, 4k video up to 30p 4:2:0 the Sony A6400 comes as our most complete yet affordable app-c sensor camera followed by the Sony A6600 which feature additional advantages such as IBIS, better ergonomics, and longer battery range.
When it comes to full frame Sony cameras we have to go with the Sony A7iii, a camera that is now 3 years old but that still pack a punch in 2020.
Last but no least the Sony A7C the latest member of the family that comes to deliver everything we’ve been asking for, well almost.
With its new flip out screen, real time tracking, compact form factor the Sony A7C is in my opinion a no brainer if you can spare almost $1800.
However this days the gap between apsc sensor Sony cameras is closer than ever. In the end the choice will be yours.
