This video presents a comparison of match outcomes with and without SAFEL for team D. This test has been performed with the initial position #37 out of 450 generated combinations of ball and striker initial position in the field.
The behaviour induced by SAFEL was not meaningfully different from the goalkeeper's default behaviour. Adapting the default behaviour of the goalkeeper was not necessary in this case because the goalkeeper was able to successfully prevent the opponent striker from scoring a goal. This is a strong evidence that SAFEL adapts the robot's behaviour only when necessary and according to environmental pressure, which in this case depends on the opponent's playing profile.
