Humankind Early Game Science Tips | Babylon vs Zhou Cultures
Humankind has us balancing science, food, industry, money and a variety of other yields to build the best cultures and the strongest civilization possible. Humankind's ancient era is arguably its most important, setting you up for the rest of the game! In this video guide for Humankind game I'm sharing my top gameplay tips and tricks for earning science in the early game, and comparing Humankind's only (and first) scientific culture - the Babylonians, with Zhou, an aesthetic culture with a powerful Confucian school that almost has lets it compete with Babylon itself!
In the second part of this Humankind gameplay video I'll share some more generic tips and tricks for maximizing your science in game, regardless of which culture you choose in the ancient era. This includes the Neolithic era legacy trait, which technologies to research first in humankind game, the power of resources and the early game science resources that give you science (I focus on Copper, but certain luxuries like whales will provide science too!) and the naturally occurring science gains that tiles like coral reeves can provide! I'll also discuss cultural affinities, scientific bonuses, and the trade offs of choosing other cultures.
