This patch is a direct son of the "Enhancer". But it's more than just that. I took the PreAmp and the Warmth effect, I tweaked them, making them more extreme and I added a new feature called "Color EQ". The PreAmp is parallel compression and saturation. The Warmth is overdrive distortion just on the low/low-mid frequencies. The Color EQ is a subtle saturation that introduces harmonics to make your instruments sound more analog: it's a direct replica of the "PREAMP" feature you can find on almost every Acustica Audio plugins. It also has a highpass filter to clean up the low end in case you're adding a lot of artifacts with the previous effects and a nice and musical high-shelf to add some sparkle in the top end (it's a replica of the "AIR" feature on the Black Box HG -2 hardware and plugin clone made by Plugin Alliance). The goal of this patch is adding layers to any instrument or mixes to make them sound fuller, warmer and thicker. Before creating this patch I was using Ozone Exciter to make stuff more interesting, but now I'm using this more than I could have thought. Paid plugins on the market that are similar to this patch are Vertigo VSM-3 by Plugin Alliance and the infamous Sausage Fattener by Dada Life. Go and make your sound THICC! Damn boi.
