In today's video we go over a quick and easy method to speed up your video editing! If you've ever tried to edit uncompressed raw footage in Premiere and found playback was slow and sluggish, due to high resolution video files or a slow computer, you'll know that trying to edit a video together can be pretty much impossible. However there is quick fix without needing to upgrade your PC. Use proxy files! Proxy files temporarily replace your video footage with lower resolution and optimized video files to make editing super fast and easy in Premiere Pro. We were quite surprised at how many of our viewers had never tried using proxies before so watch the video to see how it's done and start editing videos super fast!
