Neverwinter Chronicles in Development, a D&D NWN2EE Remake
This video is an announcement for a project I have started. It is a new fan campaign for Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition. It begins as a full remake of the "The Wailing Death" campaign, rebuilt using the Electron Toolset.

The remake will be developed in a two-stage process:
1. Focuses on recreating all maps and positioning placeables, creatures, and transitions
2. Compile the scripting, dialogues, and quests
The project will evolve through three versions:
1. Pure base game + Electron assets
2. Enhanced with custom assets for closer visuals to the original NWN campaign
3. Rewriting both the Wailing Death (NWN) & Rise of the Shadow King (NWN2) official campaigns to create a cohesive narrative while incorporating and expanding the Storm of Zehir world map to create an open-world experience
Future plans include remaking all expansions that relate to characters/events tied to the official campaigns (Shadows of Undrentide, Hordes of the Underdark, Mask of the Betrayer, and Storm of Zehir) with further expansions to the world map as new parts of the Sword Coast and beyond are explored in the expansions.
This is a pure passion project, and no speculative release dates will be given. There will be future video to show progress on the campaign's development.
Songs and stories will continue when time allows, but development of the Neverwinter Chronicles is now the main focus.
