In this session, we show how to build a platform to monitor and troubleshoot microservices using logs, metrics & distributed traces.
Citrix Observability Exporter collects transactions from Citrix ADCs and transforms them into suitable formats (such as JSON, AVRO) for popular endpoints such as Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Apache Kafka, Zipkin.
We show how to build intuitive dashboards on Kibana, Grafana to generate insights from this data. We also discuss how the same information can also be consumed to build closed-loop control structures such as configuring ADC policies based on transactions, or doing anomaly detection and taking desired actions.
