How to Use Finale, Garritan, Band in a Box, Guitar Pro and other Software:
Essentials of a Home Studio
(Clarification: in one short section in this clip I refer to "Full Strings" as a quartet. It is actually a full string section.)
These short lessons will show musicians the essential working habits, tools and techniques they need to produce marketable (final and ready to release) material for albums or commercial work in a home studio. Recommended tools are Finale, the Garritan library of samples played through the Aria Player, Band in a Box 2014, and Guitar Pro. You will also need a good DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) to record live audio tracks such as guitar and vocals before final mix down. There are many good ones out there, just do your research.
