42 years is not old! Landing Antonov An-26, built in 1980. March, 2022.
This Antonov An-26 aircraft was built in 1980 at the Kiev Aviation Plant "Aviant". Until 1991, he served in the USSR Air Force, then another year in the Russian Air Force, and then went to the Latvian transport airline RAF Avia. The name of the airline is not a coincidence and is directly related to the production of the legendary Soviet minibuses RAF ("rafik"): the company was established in 1990 with the aim of delivering components for the Riga Autobus Factory (RAF) from other regions of the USSR to an assembly plant in Jelgava. Automobile production has not existed for a long time, even the walls of the plant have been demolished, and the RAF Avia airline still exists.
